For all the talk about the great food that Taipei offers, it took me a full week before I found a restaurant worth writing about. It was well worth the wait though. Hutong Restaurant is a happening Korean style BBQ where the staff is as cool as the restaurant's atmosphere.
It’s an upbeat eating experience and even though the staff spoke little English, it was some of the most fun I had eating at any restaurant I've tried. The quality of the meat is outstanding. I was a big fan of the Wagyu beef selections as well as the sushi grade grilled salmon. To top it all off, you can roast marshmallows over the open charcoal flame for desert. That alone would make it one of my top restaurant picks!
