You want to eat a cheeseburger in paradise you say? Well pull yourself up a stool at Bugaloe Beach Bar and Grill in Aruba.
Above: Located on a pier right off the beach, it's the perfect place to cool off during the day
You can sit on the beach, catch sun or swim up to your resort's pool bar all you like, but to really feel like you've arrived in the Caribbean, this is your place. Unfortunately I didn't pay a visit to Bugaloe until 2 days into my trip, but as soon as I did I knew I had found my spot.
Located right on the beach near the Riu Palace Resort, Bugaloe is a favorite watering hole of locals and snowbirds all the same. The bartenders are great (special shout out to JC!), they make you feel you've been visiting this bar your whole life even if it's your first time. Be sure to get yourself over there for happy hour as well, where drinks are only around $3.50 USD. The food is excellent as and I can personally recommend the Mahi-Mahi and some onion rings on the side.

If I haven't sold you yet, then simply get to Bugaloe around 6pm, grab a drink and then wait for one of the most spectacular sunsets I've seen. And after the sun goes down it's just getting started there, with a live band, salsa lessons and alcohol a plenty.
. . . and don't forget to try the cheeseburger.
Bugaloe Beach Bar is ranked #10 of 82 restaurants/bars in Palm Beach Aruba by Trip Advisor.
