You'll be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful and unique setting than at Halia Restaurant located in the Ginger Garden of Singapore's truly beautiful Botanic Gardens.
Below: Built in 2000, Halia is designed to blend in with the surrounding garden setting
It is set among lush tropical greenery and giant palm trees and you may choose to dine indoors or out (I recommend outside). They have an outstanding but small menu and the prices are on the high-end (appetizers start around $28 SGD).

If you're looking for intimate dining however, It's the perfect place for taking a date or to eat with a small group of friends. Not to mention it's located inside the larger Botanic Gardens so you can stroll around the grounds before and after your meal. Reservations are recommended.
