In many of the countries we've worked in, the hotel has been close enough to the client's office that we can walk the streets to get there. In Seoul, a combination of distance and winter temperatures puts it on the tough side to do that.
We leave each morning from the Sheraton Seoul D-Cube City Hotel and travel about 15 minutes by taxi to Yeouido. The ride costs about 8,000 KRW (around $8 U.S.). Yeouido (translation: Yoi island) is Seoul's largest investment banking and business district. It's home to electronics giant LG, the Korea Stock Exchange and also the National Assembley Building where the South Korean government meets.
Below: A series of pcitures I took on our ride from Sheraton D-Cube to the business district of Yeouido. I'd give more detail, but I honestly couldn't say the route we drove!
Lovely blog! I am loving it!! Will come back again. I am taking your feeds also.
